I couldn't figure out how to post LARGER pictures on Blogger..... I tried everything... i know my way on a computer and websites, but this was just to much.... I don't have time to mess around with that! So I moved to WORDPRESS.

A Long week

I left for OR last Sunday morning. I wanted to make sure I didn't run into a lot of traffic. It was a nice and quiet trip. I was headed to OR on a Sunday because the following day, Monday the 26th, my mom was having surgery. I was going to be with her and spend the week with her recovering. Surgery went well and she has been home since Wednesday morning. Saturday the 31st I am headed back home to the husband, kids and 2 dogs. I have missed them all so much. I was not able to get much work done this week, but to be able to be with my mom in the down time was nice. She has a long recovery a head of her, and it's not east for her to be down.

Do you believe in Magic?

Today was the launch of Jodi's newest action set for Photoshop. From MCP Actions.

I haven't played around with them to much but I did try some of the actions of 2 photos.

This picture I used Magic recovery, Magic clarity, magical contrast, Color Safe bleach from the newest set of Actions, I also used Magic Skin and the Eye Doctor.

I used Color Finder, Magical Contrast from the newest set of Actions and also Magic skin and The Eye Doctor.

can't wait to spend more time paying around with these and the other actions I have gotten from Jodi! She has an amazing gift, Thanks Jodi! You should go check her out!

Monday's

Monday's I never know what I will get. Either school with the kids will go great, or not so great. Today was so-so. lol I guess when my brain is wrapped up into editing pictures, getting the kids done with school quickly so I can start tackling that is running through my brain.... Those are the days that school takes LONGER! So I took a deep breathe and gave the day to my Lord and then things were better, granted it WAS at 6 at night. lol Better late then never.

The photo shoots on Saturday were great. Family photos were first thing in the morning. Family was wonderful to work with. Kids were great, Roxy, the family dog, was so sweet. Working on their pictures a little bit since that morning. But that afternoon I had a Senior photo shoot in Seattle. Tons of fun with the high school senior and the friend she had some along. (both of whom are in the youth group we help with) We wanted to go to Seattle Center, but it ended up being crazy busy there. So we headed to our next destination, Pikes place area, and along the water. We found some amazing spots to shoot. And I look forward to getting her photos done as well. So many pictures so little time. (So it seems)

Tomorrow we are attending and uncles wedding. I plan on shooting some pictures, so watch for those too. :)

Long Weekend Ahead

As I sit at home trying to do things around the house to get ready to hit the road, I find myself once again on the PC. Trying to configure email accounts and all sorts of business stuff. I really should finish packing, and try taking a nap. I got about 4 hours of sleep this morning. Hubby nor I could sleep last night so after watching some Smallville we hit the computers doing our own things. Quality time? Sure why not. I am only going to be gone 3-4 days, so I'll take what I can get. (notice the ONLY in there) Memorials are never easy but this one will be super hard for me. (My grandmother passed away 2 weeks ago) I will be seeing family I have not seen in many years. Seeing Cousins I have never met. (They are younger then my kiddos, at least the older two. So there is a degree of shyness going on. Even though it IS family. Why haven't we seen eachother? I am not sure. I have gotten Christmas cards and pictures from one Uncle and family through the years, but everyone else till recently has been void. It breaks my heart it takes Grandma's passing for MOST (brother and Sis in law in Cali are unable to make it) of us to get together. But I will cherish this time as my children get to meet a side of the family they haven't met or were to young to remember last seeing them.
So as I pack my things up and wait for my car to be fixed, that's a whole other story, I sit remembering the times with my Grandma. her crazy things she did or said. The love she showed me through the years. The Holidays spent with her. So many memories. I loved her very much and I hope her last memory of me was that of love.

no excuse really....

I have been so busy with one thing or another..... it seems life has sped up once again since summer began....

I have been working on editing pictures from that photo shoot I did awhile back.... but not like I would really like to..... Coming the week of the 13th my 3 munchkins will be with their grandparents in OR.... so I will have free time for either photo shoots or just editing and playing with pictures. :) 2010 Seniors.... not to late to book a Senior photo shoot... :)
